LetterBomb: Wii System Menu 4.3 Jailbreak

As with anything related to the Wii, once you have an exploit installed or The Homebrew Channel installed, DO NOT update the Wii console if it asks you to. Future updates kill homebrew unless another exploit is found.

A new interesting LetterBomb exploit/jailbreak has been released for the Wii that involves exploiting the Wii System Menu messaging center. This exploit is aimed for enabling homebrew on System Menu 4.3, however it may work for older system menu versions.

Nintendo’s updated rehash of the Wiimote Controller

Nintendo has done it again and has scheduled a release of the new Wiimote Plus in November, which is a Nintendo Wiimote (Wii Remote) only with the MotionPlus add-on integrated with the remote itself.

The bundle also comes with FlingSmash, and as gameplay suggests, it puts the Wiimote Plus to good use. Gamers that were disappointed with the Motion Plus add-on falling out of their Wiimote controller in the middle of playing MotionPlus games should be happy to know that this new controller eliminates that issue.

Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 Update


As usual the latest System Menu version set out to remove any homebrew you might of installed on your Nintendo Wii.
Although it did succeed, It’s success has been short lived.

On July 26th, The Homebrew Channel was updated to 1.0.7.
This update is compatible with System Menu 4.3.

Other updates in this (Homebrew Channel) update include the end of DVDx, as a new exploit has been found that allows direct communication with the Disc Drive.
This update also includes a new look and improved USB support.
