Our new IRC Channel is ready to go!
Feeling bored or just want to chill out with the Coburn’s Domain crew? Well, we’ve got our new channel all set up and ready to go. For the people who don’t like clicking on the IRC Chat page, they can input the following info into their IRC client (mIRC, Xchat, Colloquy, irssi and countless others) and join the discussion:
IRC Server: irc.rizon.net (automatically connects to a server closest to your location)

We aren’t dead…
No, we’re still alive and kicking. I, myself, have been quite busy working on Coburn’s Domain 4. It’s coming along nicely.
I have also been promoted to editor status in the fan-subbing group we do mobile releases for (Shini-Subs), but that won’t affect my time that I have to code Coburn’s Domain 4.
We’ve got some more content in the works plus some mobile releases of anime fansubs, so stay tuned. Don’t forget to say “Hi!” on our Message Boards.
Video Follow-up on the Nintendo 3DS Hands-on
We’ve uploaded the videos to our server, showing off the Nintendo 3DS as per the last article we published yesterday. The first video shows off the consoles’ features. Do note the “Development” text on the back of the unit.
The second video is a recording of the game that the 3DS was running, which was Nintendogs + Cats. Includes the issue when the 3DS unit froze on us. Sorry about the robot-like voice – blame our camera for that.
What’s cooking in the Coburn’s Domain labs?
I’ve been busy flexing my PHP Muscles lately, and trying out a few things including PHP projects and other code snippets to pave the way for Coburn’s Domain 4.
Speaking of Coburn’s Domain, the 4th revision of the site is coming along very nicely. The design has been prototyped, and basic functions have been completed. This development is happening behind closed doors, however a beta version will be shown off once it is nearing completion.
Flooding hits Australia; lots of damages caused, towns underwater
In case our visitors don’t watch the news, the state where Coburn’s Domain is based in, Queensland, has been hit with massive torrents of rain, which has caused flash flooding and many towns have gone underwater. The state premier, Anna Bligh, has also declared Queensland as a disaster zone. Our state’s water supply dams are over-full, and this rain shows no mercy to residents of towns as it sweeps away cars, buses and destroys homes.

In about 2 hours and 45 Minutes, it will be 2011. Well, from where the Coburn’s Domain headquarters are located anyway (the time zone is GMT+10 where they are located in Australia).

Coburn’s Domain gets prepped for Xmas ’10
