The Samsung Intercept is a

The Samsung Intercept is a very tricky device to root, SuperOneClick may claim it rooted your device, and who knows, it actually may of done so, but in most cases you’ll end up with a weird partial root.

However, if you do a little heavy duty searching you can come across a way that not only works perfectly, but will take less than 3 minutes. And needing no PC.

This was done on an Intercept running Froyo 2.2.2 on Virgin Mobile, However it should work on any other Samsung Intercept.

Now, On to the the instructions:

Step 0: Open Settings, Applications and enable “Unknown Sources”.

Step 1: Go here from your phone browser, click Downloads, click “interceptRoot.apk” and download that.
Any browser should work, We recommend Opera Mini.

Step 2: Open the app.

Step 3: Click Root, or Re-Root if you have a erroneous rooting.

Step 4: Be patient, It won’t take long. 3 minutes at min, 5 minutes at max.

Step 5: Once the rooting has finished, your phone will automatically reboot.
Once it has started back up you will now be rooted and be able to do anything you want.

And that’s it. Want to un-root? Just hit the Un-root button.

Keep your eyes out for a tutorial on how to re-enable Froyo WiFi Tethering on the Samsung Intercept.

Fantastic news. Team Twiizers have

Fantastic news.

Team Twiizers have just come out with an exploit for DSiWare game Sudoku.
This exploit allows you to run homebrew in DSi Mode, Which is a tremendous step to a DSi Homebrew Channel.

More info can be seen at the source here.

Doing this will modify your Sudoku game to boot a file “/boot.nds” from your SD Card.
Sadly, Sudoku has presently been removed from the store.

Although this means no more DSis can be enabled presently, This should allow development for a Homebrew Channel.
And then when a new exploit is found, It can be used to install the item.

Just a few weeks ago

Just a few weeks ago the private keys for the PS3 and PSP were discovered, Now the Common Key for the DSi has been discovered.
We won’t be posting it here on due to whats happening on the whole PS3/PSP key thing.
The finders are being sued is whats happening.

Obviously we don’t want to be for sharing it, But I think we can give hints.
It starts with a lower-case A and can be found on Twitter.
Plus it’s also now a website with “.com” as the TLD.
That should be decent enough of a hint, since we don’t have a Hint Coin system.. yet.

Anyway, You’re probably gonna ask “But Auntie Coburn’s Domain, What does this key do?”.
Well, From what we understand not alot presently.
However it may be ‘key’ in finding useful exploits that would allow such as a Homebrew Channel on the DSi.
All we can really do with it right now is unlock DSi files and view the contents, Which could reveal some interesting info.

It’s possible in the upcoming weeks more info may be found, We’ll update on any interesting finds.

As usual the latest System

As usual the latest System Menu version set out to remove any homebrew you might of installed on your Nintendo Wii.
Although it did succeed, It’s success has been short lived.

On July 26th, The Homebrew Channel was updated to 1.0.7.
This update is compatible with System Menu 4.3.

Other updates in this (Homebrew Channel) update include the end of DVDx, as a new exploit has been found that allows direct communication with the Disc Drive.
This update also includes a new look and improved USB support.

To update you can either download the update from the link mentioned below or update through the channel itself.

A full list of updates and the download link can be found right here.
