MoonPig Website Review

Just recently I couldn’t decide on what type of card I wanted to get for a friend of mine when I visited the local Newsagent. I’ve seen these TV Ads about a company called MoonPig, so I looked on the company’s website and found a lot of interesting Birthday, Christmas cards and more.
During the process of choosing a card that you think is appropriate for your friend/relative for any occasion, you’re allowed to change what kind of wording (and you can also edit the actual text) that you want on the front and inside of the card, which is much better than the general basic default cards that can be purchased from local business stores.
Prices are quite cheap for both postage and card purchases on the website. Moonpig only allows Visa Debit/Credit cards. Having no PayPal account checkout feature can be annoying. MoonPig themselves can send the card directly to the recipient, no matter where they are, hot off the press – the average delivery time is 2 days via Australia Post. If you’ve got family or friends that are overseas like in England and you live in Australia, MoonPig will get it printed in England instead of Australia for speedy delivery. Which is quite handy, because it’s saving you a lot of money. MoonPig also states that if customers order before 2pm, the card will be printed and posted that very same day before 5pm. All I can say, it’s got all the cards you’d want, all in one place.
Prices (Correct at time of writing):
- Standard Cards: $5.95
- Small Cards: $3 each (4 for $12)
- Large Cards: $11.95
- Post Card: $1.50 each (8 for $12)
- Square Cards: $3.95
Postage Fee
It all depends on the size of the card, and if you want it sent back to you or directly to the person that will be receiving it.
- Sent directly to receipent: $0.70 (standard, small, postcards, square cards), $1.30 (large cards)
- Sent back to you: $1.30 (all sizes)
Bottom Line
In my opinion, I would recommend this site for anyone wanting to purchase any type of card for occasion needed. 9/10 Stars. You would save a few dollars and time from buying a card at a store, writing in it, and then posting it in the mail manually.
