Apple AA Battery Charger Review

Just recently apple has decided to go into the rechargeable battery side of technology products. I have recently purchased this product due to the fact that I’m getting another apple product and I don’t want to use a non-apple product in my Apple Mouse or Keyboard, in case incompatibilities arise.
Just because it’s not as big or a pricey as Apple’s other new toys, don’t think Apple loves it any less. In fact, when TechCrunch spoke to Apple on the 27th of July about their new products, they made sure to dedicate some time to talking all about this new battery charger.
Apple says it’s proud of its new “sleek and very compact” battery charger because they managed to take a product that other companies have been doing for a while and perfect it. “The honest truth is that most [manufacturers] don’t care about these,” an Apple representative told TechCrunch. This allowed Apple to come in and create a product that performs ten times better than the industry average, as they usually say.
What they mean by this is that the Apple Battery Charger uses only 30 milliwatts when it completes a charge cycle thanks to sensors — many other draw 300 or more milliwatts in the same setting. “We’ve engineering these chargers to have the lowest power draw of any AA chargers,” Apple says.
The life expectancy of the Apple AA Battery Charger (according to Apple) is 10 years. With a 4.5 out of 5 Star review on the Apple Store, it seems that Apple has made itself a winner. The estimated time for delivery is about 3 – 4 weeks if you purchased it from the Australian Apple Online Store. I don’t know about the delivery times to the UK, USA or other countries. As per usual, the Apple Battery Charger can only be paid for using a Visa Debit or Credit Card (if you have one). Why apple doesn’t allow PayPal at all is beyond me.
I’ll give you a rating once the device arrives.
